From the very first “Tech Lady” photo I found, I was hooked. The concept of selling technology using female models who may or may not actually even be using the technology in the work place was hilarious to me. The pictures are always attempting to make technology “sexy” and I wanted to showcase the history of these ads.
As the leader of the ACUI Technology Community of Practice at the time, I was excited to represent women who had an interest in the field and for a while, I posted pictures every Tuesday and called it the “Tech Lady Tuesday” series.
