About Google Cloud Print

We have been considering Chromebooks for use with student workers instead of full on desktop units. Mainly due to portability, ease of use – it would let us check them out to students, and also keeps student work/projects off the hard drives. One of the questions we had though was about printing and how that works.

Well today, I saw this information direct from the Chrome site, so I thought I’d share it.

It works too!

I do have to say though that NOT having a place for students to print things in the office isn’t such a bad thing. No more 30 page printouts of research on Campus Life Fee’s dime. (We try to monitor these things – but after hours…).
